Yes, I know it is technically fall already in the northern part of the world, but where I live it won’t start feeling like it for a few more weeks, which means we still have plenty of time to knit some of those transition garments to keep us warmer when the chill comes.
For example: the Sweet November Shawl, designed by Caryl Pierre. Inspired by a shawl worn in a movie of the same name, it’s a quick knit worked in an open lace pattern on big needles for the worsted weight yarn.
It looks like something that would knit up in no time and be as great in cotton yarn for early fall as it would be in wool for winter.
The pattern is a free download on Ravelry.
