There’s something about fall that makes me want to knit all the things with lots of texture.
Heidi May’s Sorrel Wrap has texture upon texture because it’s worked with both a worsted weight yarn and two different colors of a tweedy fingering weight yarn held together. If that’s not enough tweed for you, the slipped stitch pattern adds color and texture contrast and looks so fun to knit and to wear.
I would call this a casual shawl knitting pattern, perfect for football tailgating and hikes in the words.
