If you read this site often you probably know that I have an eight-year-old daughter, who blessedly still loves it when I make things for her to wear.
You will understand my excitement when you take a look at the new DROPS children’s catalog, chock full of amazing looking patterns for kids for fall and winter.
I want to knit just about all of it.
That super-cute skirt! The round-yoke tunic! The sweater with lace in the raglan sections! Think she’d let me knit her pants? Or maybe I just need to size those up for myself.
Anyway, I just love it and I think you should check it out. There are patterns for boys, too (hello, simple cable sweater) so don’t think it’s just for the girls. If you knit for kids you’re going to want to check it out. And come back here and tell me what you’re adding to your knit list.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
