I always seem to have a bit of anxiety whenever I have to bind off a certain number of stitches at a particular point in a pattern. If it’s more than one or two at a time, I get the feeling that I might bind off more or fewer than I’m supposed to, thus messing up the stitch count for the rest of the pattern.
The good news, first, is that it’s just knitting and if I were to mess it up I could just rip back and fix it.
But it’s also possible to read your knitting such that you can count how many stitches you’ve bound off so you can ensure you’ve got the right number removed.
