Knit flowers are a fun and easy addition to any knit project, and can even be used as accessories outside the knitting world, such as on a hat, headband or hair tie.
Vickie Howell has a great tutorial for how to knit a basic flower, which, incidentally, is a great way to use tiny sample skeins of yarn or bust through your odd balls.
These are worked a petal at a time using short rows. They’re a quick and easy project for knitters of all skill levels, and you’ll have lots of fun finding reasons to use them.
