Phildar yarns have a special place in my heart. Yeah, they’re good yarns, but what makes them any better than any other top line brand? Because it was the first “real” yarn I ever knitted with. The shop in town only carried Phildar, so that’s all there was. Sport and Worsted weights, I don’t remember if she carried anything else, but I remember I LOVED working with that yarn, especially after using the cheap chain store acrylics for so long. So, my love affair with Phildar yarns is still strong.
Now, they’re having an awesome sale, 70% off of some of their really cool yarns, go here to find out more! http://www.phildar.com/fils-et-aiguilles/fil.aspx?promo=true&code_site=IN
Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
