As much as I am still WAY into summer knitting (especially considering how hot it was in most of the United States this weekend) I am willing to concede that it will be fall someday, in which case we might need to think about garments with sleeves.
I saved this pattern for the NOTICE spring cardigan by ANKESTRiCK back when it was actually spring, but this simple lightweight cardigan would be a lovely thing to wear in the fall as well.
It’s a seamless, top down cardigan worked mostly in one color but with a little bit of contrast on the sleeves and at the bottom of the body. It would be lovely worked in similar tones for a kind of faded look, or use your yarny leftovers for a scrappy, casual look.
Or just work it in one color for a classic design that will be done even faster.
The picture here shows it with a coordinating top which is a separate pattern but she has a discount on the pair.
Get the pattern from Ravelry for €5.90 or about $6.88.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
