I couldn’t let May the Fourth slip by without sharing a Star Wars-inspired knitting pattern, and the Jabba Socks from Erika Wine are just the thing.
They’re otherwise a pretty standard pair of socks, worked from the toe up with a short-row heel, with the words added to each sole with duplicate stitch.
You can use your own favorite sock pattern and just stitch the saying on after the knitting is done. Or add your own humorous Star Wars saying (maybe “I love you” on one sock and “I know” on the other?) by charting out your words in a similar style?
Grab the free pattern and chart on Ravelry.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
