Mythical creatures are a lot of fun, and these jackalope mitts from Jacquline Rivera are a great way to show off your love for unreal animals.
The top side of the mitt features half a jackalope face so that when you put your hands together they make a full face. On the palm side there’s a cool Art Deco design, and the phases of the moon go around the wrist.
The pattern is offered in one size and uses three colors of fingering weight yarn. You can buy it on Ravelry.

Lots of craft designers are understandably frustrated about the proliferation of AI “designed” patterns and photos of projects that have no basis in reality. People who don’t know how to tell if a project is AI are often also frustrated when they see a picture for something but there’s no pattern because it’s not real, or they buy a pattern that doesn’t actually explain how to make the thing or ends up looking totally different from the picture.
