There’s something to be said for stretching yourself when it comes to your knitting (and your life, I suppose), but every now and then it’s just really nice to keep things simple.
The gorgeous Simple Cardigan by Hannah Fettig is just that sort of a project. It’s mostly stockinette, with garter stitch bands, worked from the top down.
It’s a companion piece to the baby sweater from her book Mabel’s Closet, produced by Quince & Co.
The grown-up version is available for download for $6, while the baby book — which has six patterns all for girls, can be purchased in print and as an ebook for $15.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
