Now that we’ve covered Easter bunnies and chicks, why not knit up some eggs, too?
Little Red Window has a cute collection of Easter egg knitting patterns. Some of them are solid, some have little bands of Fair Isle. You could knit them in pastels like she did or whatever little bits of yarn you have lying around.
They call for Aran weight yarn but you can use whatever you have on hand, just choose a knitting needle size one or two smaller than you’d normally use for that kind of yarn so the stitches are tight and your stuffing won’t poke through. And be aware your eggs will be a different size from hers (which are about three inches tall).
You can grab the pattern, which has five different pattern designs as well as solid eggs, for $4 on Ravelry.
