I’m starting to think about gift knitting a little more, and this easy pattern for a knit coffee cup cozy from Knits’ End would be a great place to start.
You can make them in a bunch of different colors for everyone on your list, and they would be great teacher gifts that they will actually use.
The pattern is a ribbing variation that has a little mock cable twist in it to make it a little more interesting. It’s also knit flat and seamed to make it really easy to knit. You could probably make a whole stack of these in a weekend or two of knitting.
Do you have any projects you love to mass produce for gifts or the holiday bazaar? I’d love to hear about them!
