After talking about knitting for spring yesterday, I have to say that cold weather (which I’m sure we’ll still see more of this season) makes me want to knit cozy things for the home. I mean, we’re inside so much this time of year, it might as well look nice, right?
The Feminine Touch has a great pattern for a cushion cover with a big cable the designer learned in a workshop with Martin Storey (doesn’t that sound lovely?). The cable is worked on the front with basketweave on the rest of the cover and a zip closure.
It looks super cozy and that cable is a fun one to try, too.
Have you even knit a pillow cover? I’d love to hear what you did!
Specific to knitters, you can join our Knitting Patterns Only group to get, well, knitting patterns, ask questions and gain inspiration for what to knit next.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
