I usually focus on knitting garments and other “useful” things, but it can be a lot of fun to make something that’s just pretty, too.
Kat from Just Crafty Enough did just that when she made her fantasy garden in a ceramic bowl, complete with knit grass, toadstools and flowers.
I love the look of this and think it would be adorable to have on a desk or even sitting on the kitchen counter.
She has patterns for the toadstools and flowers that you can download so you can make your own little garden or use for another project. I’m thinking hard about knitting a toadstool or two to put in my daughter’s outdoor fairy garden. Wouldn’t that be cute?
