Knit a Fun Head Scarf Inspired by the 1950s

July 29, by Sarah White. Leave a Comment

One thing about summer is that if you have long hair, you probably are pretty annoyed by it a lot of the time. We can do ponytails and messy buns but mostly we just want it out of our face right now, thanks, and if it could look kind of cute at the same time, so much the better.

Twilight Time from The Marvelous Mrs. Maker is a 1950s inspired head wrap that can help tame the mess on top of your head, or at least make it look a little nicer.

It features a lace pattern and a border that’s worked in a different color using the intarsia technique. You can make the piece as long as you like.

Grab the pattern from The Marvelous Mrs. Maker’s website.
