There’s something nice about having a simple scarf knitting pattern on the needles. Ripton from Berroco is a super simple pattern that doesn’t look as easy as it is.
The almost plaid-like texture is produced by working Garter Stitch sideways in two colors per row.
Their version uses three colors but you could change colors as often as you like to make this a colorful stash-buster. I’ve done sideways scarves like this where every row is a different color, and that’s pretty cool, too.
Bonus: it automatically makes the fringe for you and you don’t have to weave in the ends!
