I’ve probably said it, oh, about a million times, that I love knitting washcloths because they’re a great way to try out new stitch patterns but they are also infinitely useful and totally giftable.
That’s especially the case with Knot another Washcloth from Nourish and Nestle. The pattern she used is called Chinese Waves, but she’s right that it looks more like diamonds.
It’s actually a pretty simple pattern worked with slip stitches, but it looks really fancy and would be a fun addition to a housewarming or hostess gift or even a kitchen-themed wedding gift.
It’s a really easy to remember repeating pattern that works up pretty fast and looks great in plain white but would be fun in colors, too.
Do you ever gift washcloths? I’d love to hear about it!

I knit 2 to 3 mystery knit a longs for dishcloths each month. I donate some to charity, give some to family and friends, the girls at my dance group, girls at the dentist office, and girls at the beauty salon.
