I find myself oddly drawn to cropped sweater knitting patterns for someone who doesn’t love the look of a cropped sweater on my body. I knit a My Boy Lollipop last year and ended up giving it to my daughter, who it is not cropped on, because I just don’t have the clothes to go with it that make me feel comfortable wearing it.
The truth is I don’t need new clothes (at least not knit ones, lol) but a different attitude about showing skin in places I haven’t traditionally felt comfortable showing it (or, you know, wearing layers).
All this to say the Me Oh My Tee pattern from Park Williams has me thinking about trying a crop again. This one is so cute! It uses DK weight yarn and is worked in the round from the bottom up.
It’s designed to be worn with zero to negative ease, and comes in nine sizes, from 28 to 60 inches.
The pattern is available on Ravelry for $9.
