Nancy Ricci has launched an impromptu knitalong of her Vanessa headband in remembrance of Pearl Chin, the owner of Knitty City in New York and community builder extraordinaire.
The intent is also to support Knitty City by encouraging people to buy their yarn — it uses a bulky weight — from them, or to support their local yarn store, which is so important right now.
The headband has two width options and an easy repeating cable, and you can make it to the length you need to fit your head. (Or use it as a last-minute gift idea!)
Whatever yarn is used, the pattern is available on her website, and the knitalong runs from Dec. 18 -30. Check out all the details on her Instagram post.
