I love knit Halloween costumes, or costumes that incorporate a bit of knitting into the design. (Though I’ve never made one for my daughter, she’s had plenty of handmade components in her costumes through the years.)
This knit mummy hat (we’ll go with hat) would be a great choice for anyone who lives in a colder climate where it’s chilly on Halloween night. It’s basically a face wrap that you can position so the child can still see clearly but looks spooky.
The pattern uses Red Heart Soft, which is actually a great choice because it is nice and soft on the skin.
