Ear flap hats are amazingly cute. I love them on little kids, but they look good on grownups, too, and they’re super practical because they warm even more of you than a regular hat does.
Gina Michele designed a cute little ear flap hat complete with ribbing, Garter Stitch flaps and braided tassels.
It works up in no time with two strands of yarn held together and worked on size 15 US knitting needles.
This would be great for that cold snap that’s coming (or is that just where I live?) or to help you get a jump on your gift knitting.

We’re a big Studio Ghibli household, and while they are sometimes very protective of their copyrights (as evidenced by the number of patterns on Ravelry that were removed from the service when it received a takedown notice back in 2021), there are still a fair number of Totoro knitting patterns (as well as other designs I’m sure we’ll get to someday). Let’s check them out!
