Now that the holiday knitting season is over, it might be time to knit something super simple for yourself, or to make a few projects for charity.
Whether you’re a brand new knitter or just looking for a quick project, this Quick and Cozy Knitted Scarf from Knits’ End is a great choice.
It’s a bulky Stockinette scarf, which can be a little tricky because of Stockinette’s tendency to curl, but the texture of the yarn used in the project makes it lie a little flatter. (It will still curl some.)
There are kid-sized and adult versions of this simple little scarf, which you can knit a ton of in no time thanks to the use of super bulky yarn (or work with multiple strands held together).
I like the idea of doing something super simple after the rush of the holiday season. What are you working on?

We’re a big Studio Ghibli household, and while they are sometimes very protective of their copyrights (as evidenced by the number of patterns on Ravelry that were removed from the service when it received a takedown notice back in 2021), there are still a fair number of Totoro knitting patterns (as well as other designs I’m sure we’ll get to someday). Let’s check them out!
