Kara over at Petals to Picots had been holding on to a ball of Lion Brand Collection Silk Yarn, waiting for the prefect project to come around. When she learned about making elongated stitches by wrapping the yarn an extra time on each stitch, then dropping the extra loop on the next row, she knew she’d hit on something that would show off the beautiful color changes in the yarn and make an accessory that can jazz up any outfit any time of year.
This silk knit scarf is a super simple, quick and lovely project that would be great for gift knitting (it’s a luxury fiber, after all) or to make when you need a pick me up. I love it!
