Simple shapes are a great way to use up little bits of yarn left from other knitting projects, and Mel from Mellywood’s Mansion is sharing a project she made with some odd balls: a simple triangular poncho.
Worked from the bottom tip in two pieces, you can either plan to make both halves the same or just leave it up to whimsy. She used two colors in hers, but you could make stripes as big or little as you like depending on how much yarn you need to get rid of.
Such a cute idea, especially for a little girl. (Yes, I’ve been thinking about a poncho for my wee one…)
