You know I’ve been knitting a lot of washcloths lately for the Knitted Kitchen Blog Hop (and I’ll have a new on for you next week!) but what I really want to do is knit something with Scrubby.
This is a Red Heart Yarn that’s made with little scrubby loops so when you make something out of it, it’s, well, scrubby.
I recently came across this exfoliating soap pouch from Knit Much that uses Scrubby yarn, and it’s a great place to start if you’ve never worked with this yarn before because you’re just knitting a long rectangle, folding it into a pouch and sewing up the sides.
Have you ever used Scrubby or another textured yarn for a washcloth or dishcloth? I’d love to hear about it.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
