When holidays roll around, people who like to craft like to craft all sorts of different holiday related things. It’s fun to have a whole homemade ensemble and homemade decorations when you greet trick or treaters at the door.
Why not include a knit candy cauldron in your Halloween preparations? The Bug Infested Candy Bowl from Red Heart is a stripe bowl with a spider and some other creepy crawly attached to the sides.
It’s worked in Super Saver yarn for durability, and you can use whatever colors you have on hand to make the bugs (orange and black would be great for the bowl as well).

We’re a big Studio Ghibli household, and while they are sometimes very protective of their copyrights (as evidenced by the number of patterns on Ravelry that were removed from the service when it received a takedown notice back in 2021), there are still a fair number of Totoro knitting patterns (as well as other designs I’m sure we’ll get to someday). Let’s check them out!
