Knit a Super Cozy Cardigan

October 25, 2020 by Sarah White

I’m still kind of in denial that it’s time to start winter knitting. Probably because I have half a sleeve left on my fall sweater, so I’m not really there yet.

But this looks like a great project for those of you who might already be knitting for the cold times.

The Letho cardigan from Natasja Hornby looks super cozy and uses Léttlopi yarn held together with two others to make a worsted weight yarn. (Or just use worsted if you’d rather.)

There’s a lot going on in this boxy beauty, from brioche collar and cuffs to stripes and slip-stitch colorwork. It’s worked sideways in two halves with double provisional cast ons and joined with a three-needle bind off down the back.

It’s meant to be oversized and is offered in eight sizes with actual measurements from 36.25 to 63 inches.

The pattern is available on Ravelry for €6.85 EUR or about $8.44 as of this writing.
