Fisherman’s Rib is a great knitting stitch that looks like brioche but is a lot easier to knit than traditional brioche designs.
Hands Occupied not only has a great baby blanket pattern using the stitch, but Heidi has also written a post full of tips for working the stitch, including how to fix mistakes in the stitch should you need to.
It’s really handy to know how to do this because it’s not super intuitive, since the stitch is worked into the row below.
Fisherman’s Rib is super squishy and cozy and would be awesome for a baby blanket or throw (I knit a giant scarf with it once and it’s amazing).
