Donatella from Inspiration and Realisation has some really fun ideas for knitting projects, and her latest is one that we can all use to make a sweater that says just what we want it to say.
Her sample pattern is for a sweater (with adorable houndstooth edging!) that says “Pardon my French,” but you could say anything that you like to say that would fit on a sweater.
Her tutorial takes you through producing the letters in Word, then using an online chart maker to make the chart and insert it into a blank sweater pattern.
She says the colorwork had her “Frenching” quite a bit, but I’d say the result was worth it, wouldn’t you?

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
