You know that I love knitting for babies and little kids (I’ve even written a book on the subject of knitting for babies!) and I can’t resist this little garter stitch cardigan from Berroco.
Called Kelcema, it’s worked in pieces with simple shaping and button closures just at top so it’s easy to get your kid inside.
The yarn, Berroco Vintage, is a great one for kids because it’s washable and durable. I used it for a couple of projects in my book and really liked working with it and the look of the finished results.
The pattern is sized for kids ages 2 to 12, and it’s sure to be a favorite no matter the size of the kid you knit it for.
