Traditions combine in this pretty Kid’s Fair Isle Vest from Purl Soho. The technique is all Fair Isle, while the specific design involved hails from Muhu, an island off the coast of Estonia.
The vest itself is sized for little kids and uses a merino, cashmere and nylon blend yarn that’s lovely but not quite as rugged as the traditional knits from these cold islands might be.
Still, it’s a lovely combination of tradition and modernism and a vest both boys and girls will enjoy wearing.
