Mama in a Stitch has a great simple knitting pattern for men’s fingerless gloves. They’re just worked as a flat rectangle, then seamed up the side, leaving a hole for the thumb.
They are mostly Stockinette Stitch with a little bit of Garter Stitch at the beginning to make a cuff.
They’re worked in a bulky superwash yarn so they’re super quick to knit and great for the people in your life who can’t be trusted with hand wash items (which includes me some days!).
You could make the exact same project for a woman or a person with smaller hands just by casting on fewer stitches. What a great simple project. Reminds me of the winter I spent making fingerless gloves for everyone.
Are you thinking about holiday or winter knitting yet? I’d love to know what you’re planning.
