Knit Something New: Spring Knitty is Here

March 17, by Sarah White. Leave a Comment

If you’re home and looking for a new knitting project, or, you know, it’s Tuesday and you’re looking for a new knitting project, a new edition of Knitty just dropped. It’s a little small — just 10 patterns and a couple of columns — put the surprise issue later in the season is projected to be larger than normal.

If you’re hankering to sharpen your skills or learn a new technique, Kate Atherley has created a bunch of videos about ways to use I-cord.

My favorite pattern is probably Grapefruit Splash, a cheery striped cardigan from Rachel Brockman. It’s knit sideways in one piece from cuff to cuff in organic cotton yarn, though it could be a fun stash buster or scrappy project as well. And it comes in 10 sizes.

See something you like in the new Knitty? I’d love to hear about it.
