It’s maybe too late to knit these as a gift for this Christmas, but they’re a fun knitting project to work on while hanging out around the tree.
The Xmas Star Mitts from Knitting and So on use a cleverly placed bit of colorwork to make a pair of mitts with little stars around the thumbs.
There are lots of techniques in these little mitts, which are worked in radiating sections to produce that star shape. They might be a fun little challenge for once Christmas dinner has been cleared away and you’re watching movies or football or whatever it is you do when the main events of the holiday are done.
Whatever you’re knitting I hope it’s fabulous!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
