This looks like a really fun knitalong to help you learn some great sock knitting skills. The Chilly Dog is hosting a Whale Done Sock knitalong during the month of August, and though the fun has already started you can get caught up quickly with these fast and fun socks.
The pattern is worked from the toe up, features a lace pattern that looks like whale tails, uses a shadow-wrap short row heel and finishes off with a bit of ribbing and a suspended bind off.
That’s a lot of techniques packed into a little pair of socks, which is great for picking up new skills quickly or just having a great pair of socks before the end of the summer.
There’s a little giveaway involved, too, so if you want to follow along sign up for her emails and get all the details over at her website.
Have you ever done a knitalong before? I’d love to hear about it!
