The latest special issue from Interweave, called Enchanted Knits, recently launched, and from the look of things it’s a lovely collection inspired by fairy tales and other fantastical stories.
The magazine offers 27 projects in four themes: Ordinary in the Extraordinary, Sinister, the Classics and Nature’s Magic. You can check them all out at the link above or get more details on Ravelry.
Some of my favorites include Eglantine Sleeves by Lynne Vogel, lacy, leafy numbers inspired by Briar Rose; Izumi Ouchi’s Butterfly Fairy Tank, which doesn’t look particularly fairy tale inspired but is still lovely; and the Kitsunetsuki Cardigan from Emma Welford, a fitted cardi with a five-strand traveling cable on the back inspired by a fox tail.
The magazine is available direct from Interweave and costs $14.99 for either the print version or a digital download.
See anything you like? I’d love to hear about it!
