Lunar Fade Shawl Knitting Pattern

July 9, by Sarah White. Leave a Comment

I’m always hesitant about mystery knitalongs. I know they can be a lot of fun, but I don’t know if there are many designers I trust to design something I know I will like and want to knit, sight unseen.

But the good thing about these events is that when they are done the pattern is made available whole, and you can knit without having to wait for the clues to be released.

Seeing Larissa Brown’s Lunar Fade shawl, which was a mystery knitalong project, I’m sure the knitters involved were surprised and delighted by what came out. This wing-like shawl looks like a lot of fun to knit and uses four shades of fingering weight yarn (or scraps from your stash).

You can grab the full pattern with its eight clues (designed to be worked one a week) for $8 on Ravelry. I do not see it available elsewhere at this time.
