There are a lot of woven wall hangings out there, but I don’t see a lot of knit wall hangings.
We moved my office to a different room of the house over the summer, and it has these little tiny walls on either side of a big window. I wanted to put something there, especially on the one that is right next to my desk (the other one is next to my sewing machine).
So I decided to knit a wall hanging.
I used two colors of a slightly sparkly jumbo yarn and size 50 US needles, so the whole thing took less than an hour to make. It’s just the right size for my space but of course you could do the same thing to cover a larger wall if you wanted.
Click over to the post for the how-to and options for hanging, including from the needle itself.
Have you ever knit a wall hanging? I’d love to hear about it!
