I’m not a huge fan of ponchos, but I might be able to get behind a swancho, which is a combination of a sweater and a poncho, kind of a boxy poncho with sleeves.
They’re a nice transition project for that time when it’s still cool in the mornings but you might want a garment that provides a little more air flow than a classic sweater.
If you’d like to try this sort of garment, check out Aster from Tahki Yarns. It’s a sweet, boxy top-down, dolman-sleeved pullover, with great shaping details and a fun springlike color. It’s worked in a worsted weight superwash yarn.
Grab the pattern from the Tahki Yarns website for $6.
