As our minds and hearts go once again to Boston as the news continues to unfold there, yarn company Classic Elite Yarns, which is located outside of Boston, has announced that proceeds form the sale of its White Clover shawl pattern will be donated to One Fund Boston through the end of the summer.
The pattern was designed by Susan Mills and is a triangular garter stitch wrap with lace edging. Worked in sport weight yarn, it takes about 600 yards. The pattern retails for $6 on Ravelry and is available for instant download.
One Fund Boston is a charitable organization set up my Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick and Boston mayor Tom Menino to coordinate fundraising efforts and distribute aid to people affected by the bombings at the Boston Marathon.
If you know of other knitting companies or designers who are raising funds for Boston, feel free to add them in the comments.

I love how it’s going to help the people that need it the most right now.
