This is one of those projects it’s a little difficult to know what to call it. It’s sort of like a giant scarf (the pattern calls it a blanket scarf). Or maybe a smallish shawl? A stole? I don’t know, but it is really pretty!
This pattern uses several colorways of Caron’s new Colorama O’Go yarn, which claims to be non-tangling. It’s worked in tons of triangles to play up the color shifts, which also increases the skill level a bit.
It’s rated intermediate for lots of short rows, picking up stitches and assembly, but if you’re comfortable with those things it should be smooth sailing (and the knitting is all Garter Stitch).
Some of the colors used are out of stock on the Yarnspirations website, but you can either find them locally or choose other colorways to make this project your own. Check it out and download the free pattern from Yarnspirations.
