I’m not proud to admit it, but I’m not a really regular reader of the Berroco blog, even though I love Berroco yarn and I think Norah Gaughan is a genius and I’m so inspired by what they do.
That said, I did recently pay a visit and saw this awesome “What to Knit” segment featuring a real life (and really tall) person trying on different knit sweaters so she could see what they looked like on her in real life and with her real clothes.
It’s really fascinating, because things you don’t expect to look good on her end up being really cute. She and I both fell in love with Gibson, a big top-down cardigan with ribbed panels on the front and a wide collar. It’s worked in a new yarn, Kodiak, which is a blend of alpaca, nylon and wool.
Both the yarn and the pattern are set to be released soon, and I’m rather looking forward to it.

Glad you enjoyed the video, Sarah!
I just wanted to clarify that this yarn and the pattern are actually available now, but some shops wait until the end of summer to take their orders.
Anyone interested can use our store locator to see whether or not your LYS has them in stock: http://www.berroco.com/store-locator.
