There are lots of times when different crafts cross over, or when tools that might be used for one craft (say, a crochet hook) can be useful for other crafts as well (such as picking up stitches or weaving in ends in knitting).
Interweave highlighted a baker’s dozen tools that are made for sewing that can also be really helpful for knitters.
Some of these you might have heard of — I have had Wonder Clips on my wish list for a long time — and some of them you might not have thought of as being useful in your knitting world, such as a rotary cutter, adhesive hem tape or even your sewing machine.
I’d love to know if you already use some of these tools in your knitting or whether you’ve seen a bright idea you want to try. Have a fun alternative use for something you use in your knitting? I’d love to hear about that, too.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
