I told you earlier this month about Caron’s new yarn United, which is a made in the United States yarn (though made of imported fibers), a small portion of the sale price of which goes to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
To further support charitable knitting and crochet, Caron is currently running a contest where people can share photos of their charity projects on Facebook for a chance to win the entire line of United.
In case you’re wondering, that’s 17 balls of yarn, with a value of about $59.
To enter, visit the Yarnspirations Facebook page, fill out the form and upload a photo before Aug. 1. The winner will be chosen from among the 10 projects that get the most likes on Facebook, so you’ll want to share your project with your friends.
Sounds like a fun way to spread the love of charity knitting, and get some yarn you can use for charity knitting projects!
