If you’re in the Southern Hemisphere, or parts of the Northern Hemisphere where it’s not really warm yet, you might be looking for a super simple but stylish beanie that you can knit in flash to keep yourself or someone you love warm.
The Simplicity Beanie from Anna Tucker/Little Larkspur Designs is a great option. It’s worked in super bulky yarn and has a bit of ribbing but is otherwise super simple and fast Stockinette Stitch.
It also only uses about 70 yards of yarn so you can whip it up in a flash for yourself or as a gift.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
