Lace knitting is fun any time of year, but I especially like doing it during the spring and summer because it allows you to make knitting projects that you can actually use when the weather is warm.
If you’ve never knit lace before, there are lots of great lace knitting stitches that are really simple and often involve just one row of pattern that is repeated every row or every other row.
One great example is Adrift by Berroco. This wide scarf/shawl designed by Emily Nora O’Neil uses a single row that is repeated for the full length of the project, making an open design that’s great to wear throughout the spring and summer.
Do you have a favorite simple lace knitting pattern? I’d love to hear about it!
