I saw these Flower Power socks by Ravelry user SaskiaBr last week and I can’t get them out of my head, they’re so lovely and such a perfect knit for this time of year.
The project used six different yarns from the designer’s stash to create gorgeous flowers and other bold patterns in both solid and variegated yarn choices.
This is not a project that has a pretty written pattern — she made it for herself and even drew the charts by hand — but you could probably use her descriptions and charts and your own stash to knit a stunning version of these lovely socks all your own. It would totally be worth the thinking time involved.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
