I started knitting a sweater the other day. It’s kind of a summer sweater, knit with lightweight bamboo yarn at a loose gauge, in a boxy, oversized shape.
I hope to wear it before the weather gets that cool (I’m cold all the time, anyway), but it’s also nice to start a sweater about this time in the summer because it gives you hope that cooler weather will someday happen.
So the roundup of 11 Sweaters that Make Us Wish it Was Autumn Already from Top Crochet Patterns (they’re all knitting patterns, though) certainly got me excited about the prospect of knitting sweaters, as if I hadn’t been already.
This collection (with links to Ravelry for more info/to purchase) is really lovely, with lots of simple but not plain designs you’ll love to knit now and wear through fall and beyond.
Are you thinking about or doing any sweater knitting right now? I’d love to know what you’re making or thinking about making!
