DROPS Design has been doing a little Easter calendar this week full of projects to inspire people to knit for that holiday or spring in general. Before today the projects were all for crochet, but today they made up for it by sharing the pattern for these adorable chicken pants. I love them so much I can’t even tell you. Wouldn’t they be cute under a little girl’s skirt? (That’s how my daughter would want to wear them.)
If you’re looking for more yarncraft inspiration for the holiday or the season, you should also check out their Easter Workshop. This collection has got you covered if you want to knit a chicken or a bunny, or a pair of spring-colored socks. Or a dog bed. Let’s just say there are lots of options. (There’s crochet here, too, but still lots of knitting projects to choose from.)
Are you knitting something for the season? I’d love to hear about it.

Lots of craft designers are understandably frustrated about the proliferation of AI “designed” patterns and photos of projects that have no basis in reality. People who don’t know how to tell if a project is AI are often also frustrated when they see a picture for something but there’s no pattern because it’s not real, or they buy a pattern that doesn’t actually explain how to make the thing or ends up looking totally different from the picture.
