So grab your needles and yarn and get ready to knit your way into summer with these beautiful tank top patterns. With so many options to choose from, you’ll have a hard time picking just one to knit! Happy knitting!

If you’re looking for more summer top knitting patterns, there are plenty of options to choose from. Some great places to find additional patterns. Check these out.  and these tank tops over on Sirdar’s website.

In the “basic” section there’s the Weekender Tank Top from Simply Maggie Knits (which only comes in one size but you could alter it pretty easily to fit you) and the basic cropped tank top from North Mountain Knits Co. That one has four sizes and could be further customized by size and length if you don’t like the cropped look.

The Vivian V-Neck from Lady J Crochet (yes it is actually a knitting pattern) is another great easy option, available in four sizes and it’s all Stockinette, though you can totally add a ribbed hem if you don’t like the curl at the bottom.

Add some stripes to your crop top with this retro striped tank from Sara Knits Co. This one comes in eight sizes and you can do the rainbow colors as shown, an ombre look or even just random scrappy stripes or a single thicker stripe.

The Venice Wrap Tank from Gorilla Knits is a super cute wrap top with long ties you can wrap around your waist before tying off. It is offered in six sizes and uses fingering weight yarn.

Thorson Knits has a cut cropped and ribbed V-neck tank top that would be great as a bralette or under layer if you like that sort of thing, or knit it longer if that’s more your style. It’s offered in nine sizes and is meant to have about 4 inches of positive ease, but if you want to make it a bralette you should go for no ease or even negative ease for support.

Finally I had to include the Moonsun Crop from Uma Knits Shop just because it made me smile. This colorwork design is worked in intarsia, but the shapes are super simple so it’s accessible even if you’ve never used this technique before. There are nine sizes available and it uses worsted weight yarn.
